Trump’s Behavior Since Winning the White House Fully Proves he is Unfit to be President by Thomas Martin Saturday

There are so many things the Fat Orange Plumed Narcissist has done since election day that emphasizes that he is not up to the job, and even will be engaging in violating the Constitution of the United States as he takes the Oaf of Office next January 20th that it might be useful to summarize:

Trump’s inability or refusal to divest himself of his foreign businesses in the Trump Empire in violation of the Emoluments Clause:
The Emoluments Clause can be found in Article I Section 9 of the Constitution of the United States:

“And no person holding profit or trust under them, [United States] shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.”

Already Trump in a phone call with the President of Argentina got quick approval of permits on a Trump building project previously stuck in limbo. Rodrigo Duarte, the Philippine leader, was told by Trump he liked how Duarte was handling drug enforcement there. In return, Trump got his business partner in the Philippines as Ambassador to the United States. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish leader detained the head of the joint venture for two Trump Towers and let Trump know now he had something Trump wanted and Trump something Erdogan wanted, the extradition of an Imam living in Pennsylvania Erdogan has said masterminded the recent Coup attempt in Turkey. To date, Turkey has provided no evidence of this whatsoever to the Obama Administration that insists evidence be presented to the United States to evaluate before extradition is granted. If Trump or anyone in his Administration extradites the Imam to Turkey, than know a business deal has been struck.

Kurt Eichenwald has a deeply sourced and definitive investigative piece in Newsweek this week on just this problem. Foreign governments are already lining up to offer bribes or favors to the Trump Empire that will enrich Trump and his family.

The Emoluments Clause, something left for overactive Civics Teachers, was put there to prevent the President’s foreign policy being influenced by gifts or favors from foreign leaders and nations. We are already left wondering if the Trump foreign policy will be a response to world conditions to protect the United States, or simply a move to line his bank account, and those of his children. Trump has eschewed divestment in favor of simply having his kids run the business. There are no plans for a true blind trust either. He knows who his business partners are around the world as well as where his business projects are and how to use foreign policy to advance the Trump Empire’s interests, rather than simply those of the United States and the American people.

Trump’s Tweety Bird Lifestyle has already chilled free speech. Trump has attacked a Union official in Indianapolis, Indiana for merely calling out Trump with the truth about just how small the Carrier deal to save jobs really was. Vanity Fair magazine ran a restaurant review of the Trump Grill in Trump Tower that was realistic, really horrible food there, bad news for the Grill. Trump Tweeted a threatening message to the magazine.

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution protecting free speech, press, assembly, freedom of worship, and petitioning our government for a redress of grievances is under attack. Trump, and some of those around him have hinted that legislation to curtail what are Constitutionally protected marches and demonstrations will be in future subject to our laws on terrorism. ACLU, get cracking!

Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s Dark Priestess of Dire Warning has told the press, and Americans generally, that there will be consequences for any criticism of the President-Elect, and those engaged in their customary American flag burning will lose their citizenship, or be imprisoned. Flag burning under numerous Supreme Court rulings, provide a veritable wall of legal precedent that says this is protected speech under the First Amendment. Trump loves walls right?

Then there is the Russian interference in our presidential election, Trump’s evident man-crush for Vladimir Putin, and a proposed foreign policy that looks pretty much like Russia’s foreign policy. Just this week Rex Tillerson, the CEO of Exxon Mobil, and the winner of a Medal of Friendship from the Russian State and Putin was tapped for Secretary of State. The lifting of U.S. sanctions for Russia’s behavior in Syria, and a very emolumenting half- a- trillion dollar deal to have Exxon and Russia’s State-owned oil company jointly explore and extract artic oil is already in the works. The Malevolent Circus Peanut is known to favor investments in the oil industry and is desiring a policy to make oil and coal be used “bigly.

Trump even told the Russian Government to hack Hillary Clinton’s e-mails and to share them with the world. We now know that Putin was very involved with the operation to help swing the election to Trump. Those same Russian officials acknowledge that the Trump Campaign and their government have been in touch for some time. Putin and other Russian officials have been gloating over their successes for weeks now. Treason anybody?

Whatever he does or says, Donald J. Trump is so un-presidential, and such a thin- skinned ninny, that his mere Tweeting could ignite world conflict. He is a walking ethics violation, and there are a number of articles of impeachment that should be offered on January 20th or soon after. The real test is if the GOP Congress will do what the Constitution requires of them when presented with criminality and corruption, along with a dangerous President who resembles Mussolini more than Abraham Lincoln.
