Love and loss,
abandoned
in between
nowhere to plant my feet
just that mad jump
through space
infinite
in search of my own jubilee time
wresting the me from an oppositional universe
teasing out joy,
where formerly
there has been none,
only my own exploration in darkness.
I refuse that darkness,
condemn it
telling its Satan
to fly from me
revealing that light in my soul
obstructed,
a captive
seeking its Moses moment
a journeying to my own Canaan land,
I live,
Yes
I live.
